Variably-Rated Portable Heated Extruder
The latest device is for applying butyl tape sealant, other thermoplastic sealants, and rubber-like hot-melt sealants. They are a portable heated extruder that provides variable extrusion rates of hot sealants with accurate solid-state temperature control. The model HME-330 has already found many uses in the manufacture of insulated glass, sealing pressure and vacuum vessels, installation of automotive windshields, and sealing of mobile homes, truck and trailer panels. Power Requirements: Under full load, the HME-330 draws 8 1/2 amps of 120 volts, single phase, 50/60 Hz. Also available in 240 volts.
